Jonathan Faix, EAMP/LAc, is an accomplished acupuncturist with over 12 years of clinical experience, having successfully treated thousands of patients. He specializes in relieving pain (including but not limited to headaches, abdominal pain (related to digestion), neuropathy, sinus pressure, eye strain) and related symptoms (like stiff/frozen muscles) through Distal Needling Acupuncture (DNA), a modern technique that integrates the traditional methods of Dr. Richard Teh-Fu Tan and Master Tung with Western medical insights into blood flow, organ function, and tissue health. He has also successfully treated conditions like stress, anxiety/depression, digestive issues, fatigue, insomnia, etc.. Guided by Traditional Chinese Medicine’s anatomical framework and Western medical principles, specific points on the arms or legs are stimulated to activate the body’s neurological and vascular pathways, directing blood flow to distant areas of pain or dysfunction. By promoting blood circulation to these affected areas, Distal Needling Acupuncture typically provides rapid relief from pain, muscle tension, and inflammation while restoring and improving blood flow to normalize tissue function and promote faster healing. Treatments are minimally invasive, typically painless, and generally focus solely on the legs and/or forearms to deliver effective results.
